As you open the
door and enter the courtyard of Cloud Nine, a sweeping panorama of green
islands and azure waters greets you. In the foreground the
shimmering waters of the pool invite a refreshing plunge. Cloud Nine is
built atop a very private and quiet hillside 800 feet above the Caribbean
Sea on St John USVI. On a clear day you can see mountain peaks 80 miles
away. At night after a beautiful sunset, the soft lighting, gentle trade
winds and twinkling lights of distant islands create a seductive and
tranquil ambiance. Cloud Nine combines the comforts of traditional
Caribbean architecture with casual elegance: high ceilings with fans,
mahogany doors, Spanish tiles, a gazebo dining area and tropical gardens.
