What is the Perfect Vacation?

St. John is an easy 20-minute ferry ride from St. Thomas, it is the smallest and most quiet of the three U.S. Virgin Islands, and is about the size of Manhattan (approximately 9 miles).  Thanks to Laurence Rockefellar, it is 2/3 national park (he donated the land in 1953), an unspoiled tropical paradise.  St. John is one of the few places in the Caribbean that still looks and feels the way it must have when Columbus first set eyes on it more than 500 years ago.  It rates as one of the most enchanting spots in the Caribbean and through the years much of its natural beauty has remained untouched.  You are sure to enjoy the hip ambiance and relish the peaceful surroundings of this small, pristine island.
